Barges We Provide

The right barge for the job

We know barges — not just how to move them, but what each type is built for. Here's a look at what we work with most.

01

Deck Barges

Flat, open-deck barges built to haul rip rap rock, construction material, project cargo, pipe, pilings, bridge and lock components, heavy equipment, and more. Our most versatile equipment, and the core of our fleet. Most of our barges feature a single coaming wall down one side — purpose-built for rip rap rock, while leaving the deck wide open for whatever else the job calls for.

Spud (Crane) Barges

Fitted with steel spuds that anchor into the riverbed, spud barges hold a fixed, stable position on the water — ideal for crane work, pile driving, and other jobs that need a solid working platform. We offer drop spud barges, and can install powered winches upon request.

Hopper Barges

Open-top barges designed to haul bulk material like grain, coal, and aggregate. We don't own hopper barges ourselves, but we can help you source hoppers — or any other barge type — through our network of industry contacts.
